Valentine's Day is tomorrow. The stores are smothered in love-hearts, pinks, reds, over priced roses, mylar balloons bearing mushy messages..... it's all a bit much and every bit cheesy but my girlish heart still finds happiness in it. Granted, I don't think you should show love to the special people in your life only on one day specified on the calendar (unlike the middle aged couple who came in to buy coffee today who looked as if they couldn't stand each other, but there the wife was sour faced, rolling her eyes at everything her husband did and didn't say and begrudgingly holding a bunch of miniature roses as she barked out an order for two Cappuccinos), but the feeling that the world is dressed in confetti and sugary icing and you are given one day to be overly and openly ridiculous with love is definitely okay with me!
