This is a fun, elementary-skill card.
1. I drew up the design I wanted on a piece of paper.
2. Made a template of each shape out of tracing paper.
3. Then I used the template shapes to cut out the coloured shapes from magazine photos in the colours I wanted.
Here I did autumn coloured trees, various shades of green mountains, snowcaps for the mountains, a blue sky, and golden sun.
4. Glued them on a card.
5. Stamped part of a quote on a thick type of tracing paper to go over the card.
Tracing paper is quite slippery so the ink on it takes forever to dry and tends to smudge if you aren't (I wasn't) patient for long enough.
Here are easy little crafts that I like the look of.
Make your own stamps.
You can find out how to carve your very own, unique stamps like these cute house stamps.

Costume jewelry turned into fridge magnets.
What a clever way to pretty up your grocery lists and favourite take away menus.

Funky door knobs!
Paint and tape -- that's all you need to brighten up a closet or dresser!
