J'adore.

A day spent celebrating marriage with your best friend is not bad, not bad at all.  Marriage is undoubtedly the most challenging thing I have ever known, but at the same time, nothing is as wonderful and safe.

We dreamt of doing our One Year in Paris.  Paris will have to wait for us.  We thought if we couldn't go to Paris, Paris would come to us.  We ate breakfast in bed, listened to French music, I wore stripes and red lipstick, we kissed like the French, ate cheeses, patés, drank wine, bicycled every where we went, and drew silly sketches of the Eiffel tower.
Nothing could've made it better.
We were together; nothing tops that.
My heart is full of him and we've only just started.
The makings for breakfast in bed.
Pain au chocolat for the Mister.  Someone needs to make these GF for my enjoyment.
Year 1 is the Paper Anniversary
Hubby's gorgeous card and love notes made on playing cards.
My love note covered cardboard 'house' for hubs.
 He is home.
Long morning chats and dreamings about life.
Afternoon river picnic of French bread, brie, paté, quince paste, and plums.

I love this bearded face

The friendliest neighbourhood cat, Cracker.  He comes over for sun-roof lounging and scratches under the chin.
My tiles.  Not a good start.

I lost by one tile.
The champion!
More than excited!

    1. Thank you so much!! We are very spoiled since we still get to live in Nottingham, which definitely holds its own beauty!
