Instinctive Style

Ninety year old Iris Apfel, a New York socialite whose ' exuberant outfits and flying-saucer glasses have turned her into a style icon, with major art galleries frequently given over to shows of her clothes,' states that style isn't something you can teach, it's instinctive. 
I love her quirky, theatrical way of dressing. She doesn't take herself too seriously and wears what she loves regardless of what has been deemed fashionable. I'm embracing this-- Lighten up, have fun with style and fashion and don't be caught up in trying to look exactly like the next person or buying something  just because it is in 'fashion'. Be confidant in being you.
