Silt
We all fell in love with Lu-Anne Haukaas' The Truth About Love , When, and Against Nannying here on Clementine & Fig and now she has finally started a blog of her own, Silt . Her writing has substance, bones, blood. Her voice is beautiful in a way only honesty can be.

To Build A Home part 1 - Matchy Match & Zany Lime, the Colour of Happiness!
The Tatums have a move in day! April 1st we will get the keys to our first little home here in Anchorage, Alaska! Can't wait to make a home together! Let me tell you something... this husband of mine is so into every little detail and so darn creative (he amazes me) so it makes creating a home that much more fun! Currently we have a bed, a vacuum, and a few plates, so we are on the journey of filling our small space with treasures and unique little goodies. Our first project-- turning a wooden shoe rack into a fantastically bright and whimsical little piece of happiness! Look what $10 and a lick of paint can do!
This morning we both got dressed at different times and unknowingly emerged as twins.
This was me telling him to please make me look cool. (I feel very awkward in front of the camera coupled with the fact that somehow David has a knack for taking very unflattering photos of me.)
Little flared nostril action
He makes me foolishly happy
Hot handy man
This colour makes me smile wide and dance about
Can't wait to see family and friend's shoes hanging out on this
Project #2 we are currently working on. It involves lots of triangles.

Brothers
I'm sorry for over sharing photos lately. (Not sorry enough to hold back.) I just can't get enough of these little faces and bodies and don't ever want to miss out on a moment to take the time to really see them.

We go together like pancakes and omelettes.
My nephews are everything. This morning I took my oldest nephew out for a surprise breakfast date. We played 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' while we waited for our food, read a lego Star Wars book, and talked about school and being a big brother. As I sat there listening to him talk and watching him eat the majority of three massive pancakes, my heart was bursting. I don't know how our family got to be this blessed with these two little boys who have the most special, beautiful hearts and souls. Just look at him! He's pure sunshine and maple syrup!
